Most of the kennel is devoted to boarding. We have penthouse suites (lol with TVs and webcams lol lol), regular indoor/outdoors, and just indoor rooms. Our daycare is one big room and has all dogs together, big and small. We tend to not have tiny dogs in daycare, and if we do, we have a "toy room" where we board dogs under 15 pounds with it's own play area so we usually put them in there. Or the girls behind the desk steal them! :) There's a door to either side of daycare that leads to an outside play yard. We only use one yard though because the other yard is flooded. We have a pool, and full pool+big dogs bellyflopping in=water flooding out into the grass and making mud. Haha.
I want to own my own doggie daycare one day. I've spent a small fortune on books and dvds and I'm taking a small business class. I even draw blueprints of how I want my daycare too look. I'm a nerd haha.
Well I'll probably post in here a lot and I'm glad I found a place with doggie daycare staff to post in! :) Seeya next time.
"Doggy day care attack leaves animal in serious condition".
Not at my daycare, thank god, but one down the street. This place had no plan of action. I guess a fight broke out and preditor drift set in. Things like this happen, but it should have been caught in time. Its awful for everyone involved.
Which brings me to my question, what kind of protocal does your facility have in place?
Im hoping, "PUNCH!" isn't a common responce.

So glad you've found us! (How did you find us anyway? lol) Please take the time to introduce yourself. Either post a comment here, or better yet, post a new entry! What brings you here? Do you work at a dog daycare? We'd love to know. This community is about dog daycare, for better, or for worse. We welcome horror stories just as much as we welcome happy tails. We are also open to questions.
Thanks for checking us out
